Boss & Co

A wonderful Boss & Co 20 bore ‘Under and Over’ serial number 9292, made in 1964. It is inlayed as number 2, but is to be sold as a single gun with 28″ barrels measuring as proofed and in perfect condition. The good quality rose and scroll engraving is in crisp, original condition with the case hardening retaining 95% colour. The well figured walnut stock has a half pistol hand (Pommel grip), flat top checkering with boss style checkered butt end and is original, along with the fore end. It is in a vintage leather case with replaced handle and straps and a refitted Boss red interior. There is a three piece cleaning rod and a pair of old nickel plated snap caps. The label in the lid has the St. James’ Street address crossed out and stamped 13 Dover Street, although the address on the barrels is 13/14 Cork Street, so it is obviously a replacement case, but very serviceable.
